On September 18, 2009, Baker County celebrated the 100th anniversary of the County's Courthouse. The current courthouse was completed in 1909 at a cost of $125,000.

Also, the celebration marked the completion of the restoration of the clock in the courthouse. The clock ran for about 70 years until the wooden hands became warped and would not turn. The clock would not run for another 30 years until with the help of grants and community volunteers restored it to its current working condition. Its estimated the clock should run for another 100-200 years.

Above is a video tour of the newly restored clock in the courthouse clock tower.
