 (In order of priority) 1. To form a Friends of the Fair Foundation—a nonprofit entity to assist the Fair Board with raising monies for fairground improvement projects identified in the Master Plan. 2. To move from one main community event a year, to three main events (Fair, Oktoberfest, Home & Garden Show) - completed 04/04. 3. To market the fair ground facilities to target audiences and to encourage facility rental for outside events. 4. To improve public awareness of our mission and services. 5. To provide facilities usage, free of charge, for educational purposes, to youth groups (4H & FFA) that are preparing for the Baker County Fair. 6. To provide facilities usage, free of charge, to the Oregon State University Extension Service, in order to enhance opportunities for agricultural education in Baker County. 7. To have an online database for facilities rental, and event registrations.  |
