1. To improve the Old Armory for occupation by Fair and OSU Staff, and to improve the facility for events and meeting space. Total cost $618,670. Timeline: 12/04—12/05.

As of March 24,2006, $232,300 has been secured for the Old Armory project.
Our funding includes:
  • $90,000 Baker County
  • $42,800 Leo Adler Community Fund
  • $40,000 Fair Board Funds
  • $10,000 Jeld-Wen Foundation Grant
  • $1,000 Clarke & Clarke Insurance
  • $1,000 Farm Credit Services
  • $25,000 Oregon Community Foundation Grant
  • $22,500 Oregon State University
2. To release the Extension Building to the County for the benefit of the community after the Old Armory project is completed.

3. To improve the Campbell & Grove Street lot (old Community Center Site) for the benefit of the community and Fair Grounds promotion.

4. To Improve the Rodeo Grounds for Events.

5. To Improve the Show Barn for Events.

6. To Improve the 5-Acre Field for usage during events (Bull/Bronc, Carnivals, Fair, etc.)

7. To Acquire the Leo Adler Field for Fair Grounds Expansion.

8. To Improve the Leo Adler Field for usage during Fair Board sponsored events and other community events.
