To provide a quality County Fair for the residents of Baker County, and to enhance educational opportunities available at the fairgrounds with emphasis on youth and agriculture. The Baker County Fair Board is a seven member board that meets monthly for the purpose of conducting fair & fairgrounds facilities business. Membership is diverse and includes community leaders, business leaders, past/present 4H leaders and parents of 4H children. |
Our Partners Advisory Board: A three-member board that provides additional expertise in an advisory capacity. Membership includes the 4H Extension Advisor, a representative from Baker County Unlimited, and a representative from the Pine Valley Fair. Partners: The County Court, County Extension Staff, 4H Leaders and FFA Advisors are partners in the community that work closely with the Fair Board. Community groups, businesses and non-profits often assist with special projects and events that have a mutual benefit. Fair Grounds Manager. The Fair Grounds Manager conducts administrative business and coordinates events on behalf of the board. The Manager also oversees volunteers, seasonal staff and day-to-day operations. Most recently, our Manager was given the responsibility to assist with grant writing and administration for priority projects described in our Master Plan. Services We Provide Our facilities include an indoor Show Barn, grassy courtyard, livestock barns, rodeo grounds, five-acre field, Extension Building, and the Old Armory facility—all of which are available for meetings, events, private parties and kitchen use—public or private. We also rent out tables and chairs. Contact our office for a rental sheet. We invite you to tour our facilities as well! |
